It all started with my poor, unsuspecting mother. Bobbing around in amniotic fluid, I discovered my very first microphone attached to the end of an umbilical chord wherein I uttered my first word: “Why?” Right then and there, my life of curiosity and meddlesomeness began. As a baby, my interviewing skills took precedence over potty training as I crawled from one respondent to another. By the age of five my kindergarten teacher seemed quite standoffish as my camera man and my sound guy followed me around from playtime to naptime. By grade school, my instructors didn’t know how to grade me as most of their examinations were answered with examinations of my own. High school – I was beaten on a regular basis. By first-year university my professors embraced my inquisitive nature and quest for knowledge. By second year I was instructed not to return. So I entered into the foray of the working world. I was pleased by how many reputable television networks such as NBC, CBS, and ABC welcomed me with open arms. Turns out, I was simply being greeted by the networks’ guided tour department…NBC provided some amazing complementary mugs. After 10 years of working for a certain fast food chain (I’m still lovin’ it) I decided it was time to return to the streets and ask some serious questions. My camera man and sound guy are still a bit upset that they don’t get free food any more.
